Located in the Rosedale neighborhood of Toronto, this 1980s condo unit was in original built condition. The suite was very airy with lots of windows, yet very outdated and it was compartmentalized with the kitchen closed off to the dining and living rooms. Everything had to be removed so we could start with a clean slate. The new open plan allows for uninterrupted views through the great room, with a focus on the large stone peninsula at the heart of the space. To create a contemporary feel the spaces were filled with a selection on natural materials in muted tones. Infused with a level of sophistication reeded glass doors, natural stone, black hardware, and herringbone floors were installed throughout.
