The Avoca Apartments is a mid-century residential complex built in 1969. This suite was in original condition when purchased by our clients and required a complete build out of every finish, fixture and equipment, including furniture and accessories. This project was our third opportunity to completely redesign and renovate within this challenging complex. The suite had expansive views and a generous layout. The goal of the redesign was to maximized functionality of this compact space to allow for large family gatherings over the holidays. This was achieved by creating an multi purposes den/2nd bedroom, adding a shower to the once powder room and the ability for dining up to twelve. A sophisticated palette of wood tones, natural stones and brass details were used throughout.
